Some corn mazes are for children, but the most prominent American corn mazes are generally designed for adults, and even teens need adult supervision. It may sound harsh, but so far many people have called 911 and asked for help while trying to get through the dreaded labyrinths, so adult and child support is a must. Many of these large corn mazes choose a theme every year and design products that resemble everything from political figures to literary figures. In recent years, some have even come up with advanced technology, and features have been added to modern labyrinths that will easily capture any adult-friendly escape room looking to find a child inside themselves. In this post we are going to introduce you to some of these farms
Interesting Pumpkin Farm – Dixon, CA.
Matt and Mark Cooley, brothers and owners of the Charming Pumpkin Farm, created their first corn maze farm in 2013 to attract more visitors to their pumpkin field. The maze covered 15 acres. By 2007, the farm had grown to 40 acres, and Guinness World Records declared it the largest temporary corn maze farm in the world. The maze today covers over 60 hectares. This year’s design features an attractive pumpkin farm logo as well as a welcome welcome for first-time visitors. Depending on the size and difficulty of the maze, you must be 18 years old to buy tickets and everyone needs to be under adult supervision.
Connors Farm – Denver, Massachusetts
With its seven-acre corn maze, Connors Farm picks themes such as Charlie Brown, Clint Eastwood, Family Guy, and witches of Salem. We’re not sure exactly how they were selected, but pointing to Massachusetts’ ghostly and terrifying city makes it feel like Danvers is just 15 minutes north of Salem. This year’s theme is Farm Fun. In addition to general admission, you can come in with a flashlight after dark on Friday nights and Saturdays in November as well as on Halloween.
Richardson Adventure Farm – Spring Village, Illinois
You would be trapped in most of the farm’s adventures. The farm has a wagon and zip line as well as basic items such as a pumpkin farm and a corn maze garden. It’s not like any corn farm here: it’s one of the largest corn mazes in the United States, with about 10 miles of hiking trails and 28 acres of corn crops. This millennium celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with its Apollo 11 mission and the first landing on the moon. As an added challenge, try to find 24 hidden outposts that are not shown on the map when moving through the lab.
Vermont Big Corn Maze – Danville, Vermont
There are two ways to get through the Vermont Big Labyrinth. You can either go for a large 24-hectare maze that is 2.5 miles of hiking depending on its mountainous location, or you can choose a demonstration maze, which is a set of routes that you should discover. Well, this maze also shows a shortcut to the path of the big maze. Although Labyrinth is suitable for all ages, it even warns teenagers trying to get into the Labyrinth and claim that most people give up quickly. Teens should also be here with adults.
